For Teen Titans Raven cosplay

Raven has a mysterious and dark appearance in the animated comic. Her skin is pale, greyish white. Raven has purple eyes and thick eyebrows. Raven has a significant widow's peak and shiny straight and angled neck-length violet hair. On her forehead, she has a red-colored gemstone with a black outline. Raven develops a second pair of eyes in her demonic state where her natural eyebrows are.

The Raven costume consists of navy blue color, which is the Raven's favorite color. Raven generally consists of a navy blue cloak with matching navy blue ankle boots and greyish black soles. Her cloak is bejeweled with a round crimson brooch which helps the cloak to stay in place. The brooch beeps and glows when there is some trouble. Raven wears a black full sleeve but leg-less leotard  dress with navy blue cuffs on both hands. Raven also wears a thin golden belt with round jewels similar to her brooch. To portray a serious look, Raven at times wears her hood almost covering half of her face. Normally raven does not put on her hood and let it hang like a cape. Raven can change the color of her cloak according to her moods. Brighter colors depicted a happy mood and dull or dark colors depicted a serious or gloomy mood.

Some tips to make your outfit perfect

Choose a shiny spandex fabric for the material of the cloak and keep some extra to cover your ankle-length boots of a different color(if previously owned) with the purple spandex fabric so that when the cosplay is over you can just remove the spandex from the boots and voila you just made a cover for your boots! You don't have to buy separate violet boots. Extra spandex fabric can be also used for the cuffs in both hands. Just hem the edges of the fabric and you are done. If you cannot find a leotard dress you can easily use a long sleeve bodysuit with a turtleneck as an alternative. Raven had greyish white skin so you can opt for a pale grey tight for the legs. The tights must be sheer and not fully opaque. If you want to DIY the belt just mix crimson red color to a resin mixture and pour it into small round silicone molds. Create the brooch using this same technique.

If you can't do a DIY you can go for a whole ready-made Raven costume.

Have fun with your Raven cosplay costume!
